Dear Fellow Spartans:

Thanks for taking the time out of a busy Saturday to brighten the HPHS campus last Saturday! It was a joy to work together and see the results when we finished. (Maybe I didn't work as hard as I should have, but you have to remember my bad back! NOT!!) I hope you shared my feeling of pride at the accomplishment. The planter looked absolutely fabulous!!

A special thanks to Cheryl Berezny (Rose Queen wannabe), Jeanett Vartanian (got the donation from Home Depot), and planting supervisor Georgia Barth, and each of us who helped in any way (including His Honor da Mayor Ric who was the group photographer, and Mrs. Loya who controlled the dog. No, not Ric!) 

May this be the first of many special projects in the years ahead to improve our old high school!
