CLASS OF 1964

Jeff comes to us with a wealth of background in leadership in education, Orange County city government and involvement in non-profit organizations. He brings desire to connect with the school and the ambitious graduating students through building a strong support system of grants and scholarship programs. He and our past-president Irene hope to join forces for the long-standing Spirit of Sparta Committee of Grants and Scholarships.

VICE PRESIDENT

CLASS OF 1966

I attended HPHS for 4 years and during my time there, I was Co-Editor of the Spartan Shield and Director of Publications.  I was active in several clubs and a member of the Phoenix Honor Society.  After graduation I attended ELACC for a while until a family matter forced me to quit.  It took another 28 years before I completed my degree and became a Special Education teacher.  I was married (now widowed) for 31 years and have a daughter, also a teacher and a 14 year old grandson.

TREASURER

I currently live in Leisure World, Seal Beach since 2020.  After graduating HPHS in 1974, I attended and graduated from Whittier College and remain an active alumnus.  I retired in 2023 after a 44-year career in Major Account Management in the office technology industry (Xerox, Canon, Sharp, and Kyocera).  I have a 37 old daughter that resides in Woodland Hills.  I volunteer at the Therapeutic Riding Center in Huntington Beach, I am taking quilting lessons as a new hobby, and try to be as active as possible with line dancing, yoga, walking with the horses, etc.
